All in all I think it's a worthy experience to have. I did have better crepes and mulles and frog legs outside of france, but they were still all right. The place is tidy, you hear mostly french, and the service is super nice. It's also in a very nice district.

We were cold and starving and Le Consulat fixed us right up! They have the whole package: friendly wait staff, food that is satisfying and incredibly delicious and a charming interior. Montmartre has lots of places to eat but if you can get into Le Consulat, consider yourself lucky. We had sufficient “restaurant French” but didn’t need it as the staff spoke English and were kind. The whole experience was top notch. Bon appétit!

Best French onion soup! Amongst the salad and cheese platter - also divine. English speaking people so that really helps too… would go back for that delish soup!
